Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Jinchen (Monika) Hu received her B.S. in Computing Mathematics from City University of Hong Kong and her Ph.D. in Statistics from Duke University, North Carolina. Her research interests lie in developing Bayesian statistical methodology for applied problems that intersect with the social sciences. She focuses particularly on two areas of methodological research, one is dealing with missing data in surveys, and the other is simulating synthetic datasets for public release.
